On July 22, 2016, Beijing local time,
FAW-Volkswagen's current Audi A4L (B8) was
officially discontinued, and today the
new generation Audi A4L (B9)
officially rolled off the production
line at FAW's Changchun plant.
As Audi's best-selling model in the world,
the Audi A4 has a long history of 37 years.
The Audi A4 (B8) made its debut at the Frankfurt
Motor Show in September 2007.
Its new styling and production platform
made it a hot topic as soon as it
was launched. On November 16, 2008,
the domestically produced Audi A4L
was officially released.
This car is the wheelbase-extended version of the
Audi A4, and it was also the first luxury
mid-size car with an extended
wheelbase at the time,
and it was only sold in the Chinese market.
So far, the Audi A4L (B8) has
undergone 2 modifications,
with a production of 714,687 units.
At the same time,
we learned about the current Audi A4L's availability
and discounts through dealers in
four cities across the country.
Although the current Audi A4L has officially
stopped production today,
it is still available for sale in the four
major cities across the country.
Among them, Shanghai dealers said that
the current inventory is relatively sufficient and
sales can basically be guaranteed until August,
but there are few entry-level 30TFSI
models and top-of-the-line 45TFSI quattro models.
